This student was involved a community of people who participated in cosplay, or costume-play, and noticed that many members of this community lacked the ability and/or resources to create their own costumes. This student addressed this problem by organizing a cosplay workshop that enabled members of her cosplay community to work together and collectively create their desired costumes. Continue reading

This civic engagement project centered on starting a club on campus that would focus on global justice issues. To jump start the club, they organized an art show and auction to raise awareness on global hunger and raise money for Action Against Hunger–an organization that focuses on ending child malnutrition by providing clean water and sustainable food solutions.
