Lorienne Engler, Jade Grenland, and Dylan Vaughn worked to help bring more attention to Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) and lay the groundwork for future AAT projects. To this end, they raised awareness about AAT in prisons through two tabling events and a movie night at both Pacific University and Lewis & Clark College. In order to help the lay the groundwork for future projects they organized a mailing list for individuals who were interested and confirmed routes project leaders could take in the future. They learned much from their experiences and while many things turned out to be harder than they expected they persisted and helped to bring attention to a subject that has received little attention and to lay the groundwork for future projects.
