What can be more comforting than a warm breakfast? Holly, Chisom, and Makenna decided to cook breakfast at the Ronald McDonald House as a way to do charity–meeting people’s direct needs for food, community, and care. The Ronald McDonald House provides a low cost place to stay for families with a family members in the hospital for long term care. This group bought groceries and cooked breakfast for nine families. Makenna writes, “Having this experience allowed me to see how important charity truly is, even when done on a small scale. A homemade breakfast can be the difference between a bad day and a good day.”
